Oak from Ashdown Forest, Home of the Hundred Acre Wood

This is oak from Ashdown Forest that's home to Hundred Acre Wood and was of course the original inspiration for the setting for the original Winne-the-Pooh stories and books written by A.A. Milne, who lived close by at the very edge of the woods and where he regularly used to take his son to play.

Much of the filming scenes for the Winnie-the-Pooh movies actually took place at Ashdown Forest and Hundred Acre Wood, in the beautiful countryside of East Sussex, England.
